Preview: Viva Glam Gaga 2

Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick and Lipglass

It's-Finally-Here!!!!! AHHHHHHHH Yes as you might of already noticed I AM excited! I am a huge fan of Lady Gaga and a huge fan of MAC and when they come together it is LOVE! So here is the new lipstick and lipglass. Although I think the nude is gorgeous this may not be very flattering or wearable for  some people. I'm very fair skinned and i'm iffy about the shade on me right now. I wore it for a few minutes just to try it on and i'm not sure if it looks good or not. Since the proceeds go to a great cause I don't mind if i don't wear this much but i'm hoping i'm able to find a way to make it work. I have some very important advice to you ladies who are looking into buying this.... Go try it on, please! Trust me its worth it. I'll be uploading lip swatches as soon as I can. For now enjoy!

Hello MAC fans! Here is the second and last part of my Wonder Woman haul. Like I said in my last post I only bought 5 out of the I believe 30 something items released in this collection. Here you will see the Valiant Eyeshadow quad which is a gorgeous array of greens beginning with a very light pearl green and ending in a deep olive green. I apologize in advance for the lighting, the products are not true to color but i'll try my best to update with better photos. Next, I bought the Wonder Woman lipglass, it is a a sheer cherry red lipglass with silver glitter. I like this lipglass because although it is red it is a very subtle light red which can be worn almost anywhere. Last, I bought Spitfire Lipstick. This lipstick is an almost fuchsia shade but I almost don't want to call it fuchsia because it looks like a dark rosey pink to me. Since I haven't worn it yet I can't say how dark or bright it is but it doesn't look too crazy that i'd be scared to wear it to work. This is my haul for this collection. I hope you enjoyed it and were able to pick up your favorites before they sold out!

Review/Swatch: MAC Wonder Woman Collection Spring 2011, Part 1

POW! WHAM! MAC Wonder Woman is finally here! I'm sure some of you couldn't wait to get this collection in your hands (I know I couldn't). After reading multiple reviews about the collection and seeing it all over the internet and in stores I narrowed it down to five products I felt were unique and I didn't already own a dupe of. It seemed as though a lot of the products in this collection were very dupable and that to me was extremely disappointing. Here in this review is the Pink Power Mineralize Skin Finish and the Mighty Aphrodite Blush.

The MSF is a very pretty three tone MSF. Instead of being the usual mixture of colors swirled together the colors in this packaging are actually separated. There is a very light shimmery pink, a bronze matte, and a darker shimmery pink. I love this because it's like having three products in one, a highlight, bronzer, and blush. The best part about this MSF is that it's jumbo sized!!! It's actually about the size of my hand which is huge. This MSF will literally last forever. It's perfect!

The blush is a dual color blush. It has a light pink side and a dark pink side. It's gorgeous either separate or together. I like to swirl my brush around and use it together. The texture is very nice and the color is actually very wearable.

I honestly can say i have no complaints about these two products. I recommend them to anyone who is drooling over this collection and want something unique.

Paint Pots, you either hater them or love them... as you can see i love them!!! MAC Paint Pots are perfect as eyeshadow bases to make your shadow pop and stand out or alone all over the lid for a bit of creamy color. This product is creamy and comes in many colors. A few of the shades in my collection are limited addition but on a regular you can find a beautiful amount of colors at your local MAC store. If you've never tried a paint pot i recommend stopping by your local mall and trying them out.

Support the cause and look HOT doing it!

MAC has this amazing way to give back and help those in need like with their Aids fund. You all will most likely recognize it as the Glam line. Currently they are promoting Viva Glam Gaga and Cindy lipstick and lipgloss. Every cent that is spent by consumers on the Glam line is donated to the aids fund. Since today is aids awareness day i thought it fit to post this and show you how awesome these lipsticks and lipglosses are and how much you buying them can help lives. Go pick some of these up and help the cause! (Each item cost $14.50)

Review / Swatch: MAC Pink Friday - Nicki Minaj

Me Wearing Pink Friday

So pretty ladies as you can see I gave in and bought Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday Lipstick which was launched by Mac this past Friday. This lipstick will be available for the next three fridays online only through www.Maccosmetics.Com. I went ahead and bought it the minute it showed up on the website because i love pinks and i thought this would be a great addition to my collection... NOT. First let me first say the fact that it was only available online was annoying. Since i didn't need anything else i ended up paying $14.40 for the lipstick and $6.00! for shipping, thats way too much for a lipstick that i wasn't sure was going like. It arrived fairly quickly to be honest which was good. When i opened it and looked at it i was a little relieved to see it was a lot more pink in the tube than i thought it would be but i was quickly disappointed when i finally applied it. First its very dry and because its dry it doesn't apply all that well and looks a bit sloppy. Also, the pink changes from the tube to the lips it becomes more of a light purply pink obviously with blue undertones. Then, As you can see i have very fair skin and this shade of light pink just doesn't seem to suit me very well. Maybe in the summer once i start tanning it will work better but as of right now, No. Don't get me wrong I'm going to give it a chance maybe layer it with a different color lipstick or gloss and like i said try it in the summer but over all i give this lipstick a C-.

Advice: This lipstick would look so cute on someone with a darker complexion. If you think this is the shade for you this lipstick from what i have read has many dupes, for one MACs Pink Nouvou. Go check it out before buying it and as always enjoy!

MAC A Tartan Tale Colour Review

It's that time a year again... yes it is fall but it is also MAC Holiday Collection time!! Some of us wait all year for this month to see what MAC decided to come up with for the holiday season. I must say i was very excited when i heard a few months ago i could see sneak peak pictures on my favorite bloggers site but was unpleasantly surprised to find that the collection fell flat. With that said i looked through all the dozens of products put out and found 6 items i actually did like :) here they are! (One of the blush's are missing from this pic - Her Blooming Cheek).

I Purchased from the Collection:

Her Blooming Cheek (Blush) - Bright pink blush blends out for a soft bright pink cheek or can be worn thick for an eye catching look.
My Highland Honey (Blush) - Light Peachy coral color, looks very orange in the container but it really is a soft peachy color.
Radiant Jewels (Dazzleglass Creme) - Fuchsia dazzleglass with silvery sparkles, very pretty alone or on top of your favorite pink lipstick!
Gone Romancin' (Dazzleglass Creme) - This dazzleglass looks more purple than it really is worn alone it is almost transparent, it also has silver sparkles. It can be paired with Gone Romancin' for a more lavender color.
Cut-a-Caper (Lipstick) - This is a very soft coral color, My favorite of all the items i bought!
Courting Lilac (Lipstick) - This is a lavender colored lipstick with gold reflect, it is a very subtle lavender almost pink.
Left - My Highland Honey Right - Her Blooming Cheek

Top to Bottom - Cut-a-Caper, Courting Lilac, Radiant
Jewel, Gone Romancin'

My advice: If you're an avid MAC collector skip this holiday collection... you probably own dupes to almost all the products or have some of them that were released in past collections. If you don't collect then it's worth a look the holiday collections are a good way to preview a few products at once like in their palettes and bags full of smaller products. Enjoy!!!
