Preview: Viva Glam Gaga 2

Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick and Lipglass

It's-Finally-Here!!!!! AHHHHHHHH Yes as you might of already noticed I AM excited! I am a huge fan of Lady Gaga and a huge fan of MAC and when they come together it is LOVE! So here is the new lipstick and lipglass. Although I think the nude is gorgeous this may not be very flattering or wearable for  some people. I'm very fair skinned and i'm iffy about the shade on me right now. I wore it for a few minutes just to try it on and i'm not sure if it looks good or not. Since the proceeds go to a great cause I don't mind if i don't wear this much but i'm hoping i'm able to find a way to make it work. I have some very important advice to you ladies who are looking into buying this.... Go try it on, please! Trust me its worth it. I'll be uploading lip swatches as soon as I can. For now enjoy!

Hello MAC fans! Here is the second and last part of my Wonder Woman haul. Like I said in my last post I only bought 5 out of the I believe 30 something items released in this collection. Here you will see the Valiant Eyeshadow quad which is a gorgeous array of greens beginning with a very light pearl green and ending in a deep olive green. I apologize in advance for the lighting, the products are not true to color but i'll try my best to update with better photos. Next, I bought the Wonder Woman lipglass, it is a a sheer cherry red lipglass with silver glitter. I like this lipglass because although it is red it is a very subtle light red which can be worn almost anywhere. Last, I bought Spitfire Lipstick. This lipstick is an almost fuchsia shade but I almost don't want to call it fuchsia because it looks like a dark rosey pink to me. Since I haven't worn it yet I can't say how dark or bright it is but it doesn't look too crazy that i'd be scared to wear it to work. This is my haul for this collection. I hope you enjoyed it and were able to pick up your favorites before they sold out!

Review/Swatch: MAC Wonder Woman Collection Spring 2011, Part 1

POW! WHAM! MAC Wonder Woman is finally here! I'm sure some of you couldn't wait to get this collection in your hands (I know I couldn't). After reading multiple reviews about the collection and seeing it all over the internet and in stores I narrowed it down to five products I felt were unique and I didn't already own a dupe of. It seemed as though a lot of the products in this collection were very dupable and that to me was extremely disappointing. Here in this review is the Pink Power Mineralize Skin Finish and the Mighty Aphrodite Blush.

The MSF is a very pretty three tone MSF. Instead of being the usual mixture of colors swirled together the colors in this packaging are actually separated. There is a very light shimmery pink, a bronze matte, and a darker shimmery pink. I love this because it's like having three products in one, a highlight, bronzer, and blush. The best part about this MSF is that it's jumbo sized!!! It's actually about the size of my hand which is huge. This MSF will literally last forever. It's perfect!

The blush is a dual color blush. It has a light pink side and a dark pink side. It's gorgeous either separate or together. I like to swirl my brush around and use it together. The texture is very nice and the color is actually very wearable.

I honestly can say i have no complaints about these two products. I recommend them to anyone who is drooling over this collection and want something unique.

Quick Look: This Weeks Nail Look - In The Buff

Here is my nail look for the week. I painted them neutral just from my beautiful aunt (who hates weird colors like purple, blue, black). This color is gorgeous! I am completely in love with it. This color came out recently in the Essie "French Affair" Collection for spring 2011, it's called Sand Tropez and i think its the perfect nude! Have a great weekend :)

Finally!!! Received My Zoya Order!

Early this month Zoya had a promotion going on that if they reached a certain amount of Facebook friends they would give you three free polishes and all you had to pay for was the shipping and handling which was about $6.95 (for an order of three) with the promotion code. It was an awesome way for me to try Zoya out since i had never bought anything from the company. My only real complaint so far, since i haven't been able to try them out yet, is that it took literally the entire month to get to me! It was a bit annoying. After 25 days i received my order. The pictures are below. Soon i will be uploading swatches for you all to see and i will be uploading and actual review of the product.

Sneaky Peak: Essie "French Affair" Spring 2011

Just wanted to show you ladies real quick what to expect from Essie this upcoming season. The collection is called French Affair. Looks like a beautiful array of khaki's, a blue, pinks and a really light purple. I think this collection is classy, pretty, and perfect for the spring. The mini's are my favorite way to buy Essie because you get four mini colors from the collection for just about the same cost as one full size polish (if you buy on Ebay). From what i've read the collection should have released January 24th, 2011 in all retailers that sell Essie. Enjoy!

Quick Look: This Weeks Nail Look - The Mermaid

This look consists of China Glaze's For Audrey and China Glaze's Treasure Chest on top! I've gotten a ton of compliments on my nails. I thought it would be fun to try something new since i usually keep my nails very conservative. I love it :) Hope you enjoyed this weeks nail look.

Quick Look: Last Weeks Nail Look - Disturbia

This look consists of OPI new Black Shatter Polish (this polish basically cracks as it dries) on top and Not like The Movies (an iridescent silver with hughes of pink, purple, and turquoise)  underneath from the Katy Perry Collection.

Review/Swatch: E.L.F All Over Color Sticks

Left to Right
Golden Peach, Pink Lemonade

Left to Right
Pink Lemonade, Golden Peach

E.L.F or Eyes Lips Face is a fast growing company that sells great products that are extremely affordable. When i say affordable (Are you sitting for this?) I mean between $1.00 - $5.00! Now that is unheard of... until now. They have figured out a way to give the consumer an amazing product for not a lot of money which to me is amazing. E.L.F. is slowing sneaking its way into many homes. It is growing so fast it is starting to show up in local Targets all over the US. What determines the prices is whether or not the product is from their studio line or not. The studio line is a little more money than the regular line but still completely affordable for any one. I own these shades sticks, a few brushes, and a couple of blush's. These shade sticks can be used as blush, a highlight, a creme shadow and just about anything you'd like. I use the peach one, Golden Peach, as a highlight and the pink one, Pink Lemonade, as a creme blush. These sticks cost $1.00. I personally really love them. They are affordable, wearable, and easy to use. If you'd like to try some of there products and don't know how visit their site, www.eyeslipsface.com, or check for it at Target.

Review/Swatch/Dislike: Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Honeymoon

Hard Candy Baked Blush in Honeymoon

Hard Candy some of you know the brand from the days when it was special to Sephora, some of you know it as a new Walmart brand, and some of you know it both ways. I picked Honeymoon up one day while browsing through the cosmetic isles at Walmart. I had never tried the brand in the past, loved the packaging, and decided hey why not try it! I am pretty disappointed over all. This blush is very sheer. In the photo above where i swatch it on my finger you can see the color but only because i had to dig into the product. After rubbing it on my hand you can see it does not have much color payoff. It is also way too light to be a blush in my opinion. If i ever decide to use this product again i can only see myself using it as a blush. My last complaint is that is does not have much staying power. It rubs off quickly. Luckily Hard Candy is not expensive so i didn't pay a whole lot for the let down ($9.00) but i would not repurchase this or recommend it to anyone.

Have you tried this or any other product from Hard Candy out? What did you think? Let me know, i'd love to hear from you!

Review: Z Palette

Z Palette

Large Zebra Z Palette

Small Zebra Z Palette

Z Palette, a customizable makeup palette. I just received my new Z Palette and i must say it is AWESOMEEEEEEE! This is an empty magnetic palette. It has a magnet backing. Metal without a magnet backing will not stick but all you have to do is add a small strip of magnet that you can find at any craft store and vuala! You can de-pot just about any eyeshadow or blush and fit it nicely into this palette. It is made of hard plastic material so it seems very durable. The best thing for me is the fact that the front of it is clear. No more guessing which palette you have in your hands! You always know what's inside without having to open it.

This product is definitely a space saver for all you organization freaks out there (Me!). In the picture below you can see how i fit almost 8 entire Wet N' Wild Color Icon 6 pan sets, thats about 48 pans. Compare this to a MAC palette that only holds 15 shadows, thats a huge difference. The Z Palette comes in a variety of colors and two different sizes. It comes in large and small and in zebra print, leopard print, black and pink. The small one costs $14.00 and the large one $20.00. I purchased mine straight from the company, www.zpalette.com, but i am pretty sure other sites and possbily some stores sell them as well. If you're in need of some organizing i reccomend this.

I tip my hat to you creator of the Z Palette this was absolutely genius!

Coming Soon!! OPI Katy Perry Swatches/Review!!!

Review / Swatch: Lush Lip Scrub in Bon Bon

Lush Bon Bon Lip Scrub

I recently bought this lip scrub after seeing a few beauty bloggers review it. I picked it up at my local Lush store here in Atlanta. I believe it cost me abut $8.50. A Lip scrub is basically a lip exfoliant. It is used to exfoliate all the dead skin and moisturize your lips. What you do is place a little bit on your finger or on a small spatula and rub it all over your lips then simply lick it off. I do not like that the product is very dry and gets all over the place. There will be more sugar on your clothes than on your lips. What I do like is that it really does leave your lips feeling soft and supple. This specific flavor, Bon Bon, Cranberry sherbet and lemon flavor, was the only one that caught my attention. It is very sweet and tastes delicious. The others smelled a little weird so I didn’t even want to try them. I haven’t tried any other lip scrub so I cannot compare it to anything else. If your curious go check it out, the employees are very friendly and you are able to try out almost any of their products. Let me know what you think! Have a great day ladies :0)
